"This time it’s oooover!!!! No more again!!! Won’t pick
his calls, wont reply his messages, time for operation distance”, Lisa thought
to herself. ”2 years wasted…waiting for something I never had…”
Beep...beep... her phone rang…speak of the devil…sorry
angel...no devil...it was him. Oh no!! Should I pick the call or should I
ignore it….hmm.
The phone call cut while she was still
deliberating/pondering...just as well but...beep beep there it was again
ringing…operation distance can start tomorrow..
“Hello James, how are you?”
“Hi dear, can we meet today, I have something to tell you,”
“Really? What’s up?”
“Not on the phone will pick you up in an hour.”
“Ok will be ready.”
And just like that she was back to the same spot.
James… They were just friends… at first!!!
She saw him at a restaurant staring into space and
wondered “...what a sensitive face” What could be wrong? He looked so lost...and
he caught her eye and smiled...
And a beautiful friendship was formed …
They talked about everything .the network operator made a
million between both of them...the phone calls, SMS and of course BBMs; all
social network was utilized...Email, Whats app, facebook.
Was as if they were meant for each other buuuuut he was
married…just 4months old.
Oh well….good for madam...
Hmm..till that fateful day..was it unfortunate or
fortunate? She just couldn’t decide.
A text from James...What is your fantasy? And just like that,
the text messages turned racy…and of course they just had to experiment...and
it was explosive. Forbidden fruit never tasted so good!!!
..in his car, an elevator once, weekends away, office, even
his home, shame… It was like an intoxicating drug that she wanted to remain
addicted to...Why couldn’t he wait for 4 months to meet me…why Lord...
She had a dream once...she was in his house cooking
wearing his shirt while he was in the bedroom taking a quick shower….when his
wife walked in.
She was rooted to the spot looking at her in shock and wanted
the ground to open up and swallow her up.
Then James walked in “Darling is it
ready? We have to leave soon…because…
“James, what is the meaning if this? In our home…with
…this...”.The woman could hardly get the words out.
In the midst of the confusion she asked
“Choose now...her or me?”
...and she woke up!!!
Her friend B said she knew the answer and didn’t want to
hear it.
“How can a man married just for 4 months already be
contemplating another woman despite his claims of Christianity? He isn’t any
good for you, Lucy.
B doesn’t get it.
We are soul-mates, we are so good together...in and out of
bed…His wife is so dry, what did he see in her anyway..I just have to be
patient and show him more love...
That was 2years and all James said when asked about the
future was
“where were you when I was looking?” ....”if only”...”I cannot live
without you”…
And she was still waiting…
Just one more month...
............she walked in to get dressed.
